CANCELLATION IN SELF-DEFENSE EXPULSION DECREE

A Bengali citizen managed to obtain the annulment of an expulsion decree illegitimately issued by the Rome Quaestor without the need to carry out the opposition judgment before the Justice of the Peace. And in fact, Mr. AS, due to the worsening of the health and socio-political situation of Bangladesh - through the De Vincentis Law Firm - had expressed the desire to present a New Application for International Protection (so-called Repeated) and therefore the Police Headquarters could not issue any expulsion decree. In taking note of the observations presented by the Law Firm, the Rome Police Headquarters canceled - in the context of self-protection - the expulsion decree by setting an appointment in order to allow Mr. A.S. to formalize the New Application for International Protection. It is currently awaiting the Commission's decision.
